My stay at Max Guesthouse was wonderful. Max, his dad and his brothers were all very attentive in making sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay. As a female solo traveler I felt very safe here. The room was very clean, the cleanest place I stayed while in India and had a very cozy feeling. There is also a really cute little cafe area that is perfect for breakfast or just relaxing. The location is great as well as it’s a short trip to the Taj Mahal and other main tourist attractions. Max was always available to answer any questions and even assisted me in booking my train ticket to the next destination. Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone visiting Agra!

Max is an excellent host running a great guest house. The rooms are simple, but do the job. Everything was clean and safe, and Max was able to help us with all our needs and provide good advice on local attractions. The rooms are not luxurious, but for the price it's excellent value.

I cannot say enough good things about Max’s Guesthouse but I will focus on the proprietor, Max.
While in Agra, I experienced the common illness known as “traveler’s sickness.” It debilitated me but Max was extremely pragmatic in offering solutions. He even drove to the store to buy me medicines! Also, Max allowed me to stay an extra night and was helpful in arranging transportation once I recovered.
The guesthouse is beautiful and clean and the host and staff are some of the friendliest and most accommodating I have seen in the world.
Staying with Max is more than a typical guest experience; he truly makes you feel like family!
