I visited here recently....
A clean railway station with all the facilities.
I stayed here in irctc retiring room that was good enough as per price.
And there is lot of rush during that time. But railway workers helped me a lot for all the formalities for room.
Overall good experience.

Clean and nice station. The place is not hygienic for children.Need more lights at night. The place outside the station is dark at night.There is still scope for improvement.Escalator is not working and no lift facility. Bus stand is just opposite to station.outside of station only one restaurant is there for dining. There are three platforms here. Staff and railway police helps us if we have any problems. Wash rooms are not maintaining well. There are so many trains passing through this station which helps us to commute many places. Here ATM machines are for only name purpose. It never works. And if we need to store our luggage for some time they will charge for it.

Neat and clean station with a great station building modeled after Kakatiya Architecture. See pic. Major trains from Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad stop here. Clean public toilet and rest room available. Don't use the pay-&-use public toilet within the station complex. The maintenance lady charges an atrocious sum of ₹10/- for using the latrine and ₹15/- for commode. There is a new rest room just outside the station building which is clean and charges are as per the whole country.
Features-
1. IRCTC Retiring Rooms available.
2. AC sitting lounge available.

Cons: No food stall or restaurant inside the station. Only cake biscuit cold drinks items can be bought from the station. No good restaurants even outside the station complex. You have to travel at least 3kms to reach the nearest good restaurant. ????
