This small museum hosts an indoor and outdoor collection of Buddhist, Hindu, Jain and Islamic artwork. Of these, the collection of Digambar Jain temple parts and ruins is most interesting.

The District Archaeological museum in Nizamabad was established in Nizamabad’s Tilak Garden, which was originally constructed in 1936 by VIIth Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan. The District Archaeological Museum was officially opened to the public in October, 2001. It exhibits a wide variety of artefacts and antiquities that represents the evolution of human civilization right from Paleolithic era to Vijayanagara times (16th Century A.D.).
But it's closed for Renovation since last five years.

Lot of changes and few developments seen in recent times. As a result, there is tremendous increase noticed among the visitors. But there is no good canteen though. In children's play area, I haven't seen the service of train is available for kids. Need to start it to add more interest especially among kids.
