Magnificent temple dedicated to lord Neelakanteshwar Swamy in Nizamabad Town. Famous for it’s architecture, serene nature and ambience and it’s location. Gali Gopuram stands tall and the unique feature of this 500 years old temple is the presence of 3 Lords, Lord Shiva in Linga form, Lord Vishnu in supine position and Lord Brahma sitting on Lotus. Huge turnout of devotees can be seen on Maha Shivarathri.

2nd review : for festivals people and management need to take more precautions to keep the premises clean..it's both the management and devotees mistake to not care about the premises about the cleanliness about rh discipline of our sacred places..I posted photos on how we treated on festival days the littering the lack of management..
1st : Some days the premises is not cleaned..but the temple has so much positive energy..has a koneru.. a gowshala also.. wash rooms beside koneru..
The shikara of the temple is painted with white wash over stone architecture, would have been great if they left it as it is...
Has Aanjaneya Mandiram, navagrahalu...also temple God gets rathothsavam...

Located about a kilometre away from the main bus station & the railway station in Nizamabad town, it's an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva as NEEL KANTESHWAR. A beautiful gopuram facing the main road welcomes devotees to this temple.
It is believed to have been constructed by the Satavahana king Satvarna the second for Jain devotees, as the information outside the temple tells us.
Now pilgrims from all over Telangana visit in large numbers. Particularly to celebrate the festival of Rathasapthami.
