I am an NRI living in the United States for the past 40+ years. My family has been a customer at Kaadambini for more than a decade. And over the years, we've referred many friends and family members to her boutique.

In fact, we've been shopping Kanta Khemani's designs when she was a nobody with hardly a showroom. As she gained notoriety, naturally her prices went up, as did her ego. Though she is incredibly overpriced, we always returned for assorted wedding and formal wear because frankly, we loved the fabrics, colors and designs and were often in a time crunch when visiting Hyderabad and didn't have the patience to shop around. When my brother got married 5 years ago, his entire wedding wardrobe was from Kaadambini.

We've spent LAKHS there over the years.

I bought a suit and dupatta for my father in February (in Hyderabad ) for a wedding he was attending in April in Boca Raton, Florida. The day before the wedding, we noticed a sticker on the dupatta. As we tried to gently remove it, the dupatta began to tear. It became clear to us that any attempt to remove the sticker would further damage the dupatta. My mother promptly took pictures and video of the damaged dupatta and sent it to Kaadambini . The situation was explained to them via text and phone and we informed them that we would be bringing the dupatta back on our next visit to Hyderabad which would be in July.

That brings us to today. Both Kanta and her employees were so rude and arrogant. They barely acknowledged our past texts, phone calls and videos, (even when we provided proof) but insisted that we had somehow destroyed the dupatta! There were no apologies, no acknowledgement of selling us a faulty dupatta, or any remorse or consideration for our inconvenience. When we requested a refund, she was extremely irate. THIS IS HOW SHE TREATS LOYAL CUSTOMERS. Her arrogance is off the charts.

In short, KANTA is a ???? Take your business and money elsewhere.

Thank you so much for everything, it was really a dream and we could not have done it without you. The grooms clothes were better than expected and really did provide a unique and personal experience of designing the perfect outfit of exactly we wanted with high quality materials and good advice on what would look good.

We have been going to this boutique for my son since his cradle ceremony and now recently his dhoti function. They have done an amazing job so far. We plan on continuing to turn to Kaadambini for our future needs also.
