Spent a lovely evening after the tiring day visit.when you go next to the statute u feel you have come to a different place.

This lake was in heart shaped lake and the most visited site in Hyderabad. Though the lake is polluted and stinks at some pionts ,But at present some steps are taken to be cleaned.

It was a wonderful place to spend early morning. On one side is the necklace road and other side is Tank Bund. addition of fountains with dancing waters, tantalizing colored lights at night and bronze statues of renowned personalities.
There are several parks all around the lake- Herbal garden, Butterfly garden, Sanjeevaiah Children park, Rock garden, Rose garden, NTR garden and Lumbini Park. Boats are available from Lumbini Park to Girbraltar Rock on which the colossal monolythic Buddha Statue stands.

Went for a morning walk by the lakeside during my recent visit. Clean and well maintained. Early morning on one side there is a small temple and pigeons around it. You can buy grains and feed them.
