We had a 2 night stay in one of the tents, it was definitely luxurious, the bed was very comfortable and the tent was really clean. The food was so tasty and plentiful, the chef was always checking that everything was as we wanted. The resort itself is very quiet and has lots of others things to do, there is a viewing deck, which is worth sitting in and relaxing. The staff were on hand for anything and were very helpful, courteous and professional. The safari's arranged from here were amazing, we felt really looked after and special, the whole time we were here and would love to return.

As an experienced travel critic with two decades of wanderlust-filled journeys, I must say that my recent visit to Hornbill Retreat in Hyderabad left me deeply underwhelmed and disheartened. What was supposed to be a serene escape from the chaos of city life turned out to be a regrettable decision that left me questioning the hospitality industry's standards.

From the moment I arrived, I couldn't help but notice the lack of warmth and friendliness from the host. It appeared as though they had no interest in ensuring their guests felt welcomed or attended to. Instead of the customary warm greetings, I was met with a cold and indifferent attitude that instantly put a damper on my spirits.

The accommodation itself was far from the picturesque haven promised in their glossy brochures. The room was unkempt, with evidence of previous guests scattered around, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. It was evident that the concept of "attention to detail" was foreign to the management of Hornbill Retreat.

The amenities, or rather the lack thereof, were another disappointing aspect of my stay. Basic necessities such as toiletries and fresh towels were not provided, and when I inquired about it, the host seemed annoyed and uninterested in addressing my concerns.

Let's not even get started on the dining experience. The food served at the retreat was bland and tasteless, and the limited menu options did little to cater to the varying preferences of the guests. The dining area itself lacked ambiance and appeared to be an afterthought rather than a place of enjoyment.

The supposed natural beauty of the retreat was marred by neglect. The gardens were overgrown, and the once-charming surroundings were now unkempt and uninviting. It was evident that the management cared little about maintaining the property's charm and aesthetic appeal.

To make matters worse, any attempts to seek assistance or recommendations for local attractions were met with impatience and a dismissive attitude from the host. It seemed as though they were more interested in turning a profit than ensuring their guests had a pleasant and memorable stay.

In conclusion, my experience at Hornbill Retreat was nothing short of disappointing. The lack of hospitality and the apparent disregard for guest comfort and satisfaction made it one of the worst places I have ever visited in my 20 years of travel blogging and review writing. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to any fellow travelers seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay in Hyderabad. It's safe to say that I will not be returning to Hornbill Retreat in the future, and I hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for others who may be considering this establishment for their travel plans.

Highly recommended in every way. We had a one night stay at Hornbill retreat. It was definitely luxurious with neat cabin and the bed was so comfortable. Had a great experience in the cabin surrounded with beautiful nature. If you love the nature, into star gazing or if you want to spend time with self this the place.
