I love this place not for its sweets, but exclusively for the chat bhandaar on the street, it provides huge varieties of fast foods, that you don't find elsewhere for instance the Vada pav is delicious, ultra delicious, the samosa chat, the Pani Puri, the pav bhaji are good too. The shop is good as any other bakery, but I loved that they have good collection of all varieties of sweets. I noticed that they had Agra pan and Agra petha - my favorites. I will be going to the chat bhandaar again. The interiors of the shop are good and well lit. They also have cakes.

These days they've been very strict about the quality, now sweets are made with ghee and earlier it was a little bit different. Even have the chaats infront of this store which is ok-ok but the Bengali sweets are my favorite from this place.

Leave the quality of sweets and other eatable right now anyway they are not on that par... but the owner is so arrogant that if u dare to ask if the sweets are fresh or not they will ask u if u have ever eaten sweets before or whatever dish..I was baffled after hearing such arrogant and disrespectful reply with him.definitely this is not the right way of answering by a civilized person. This is the worst experience of buying I ever had.buying sweets is a moment of happiness but that stupid owner ruined it badly.
