It's quite a common scene in Hyderabad now to open up a bar/lounge with fancy seating arrangements, a fancy catchy designed bar and groove it along with some nice beats / DJ and last but not least get some good food to go along. But do all survive? well mostly NO. You need to get a few things at least correct based on your experience and expertise and you have a chance to prove and improve. Absorb - The Boutique Bar is another new entrant in this space in jubilee hills right next to Farzi Cafe. A small open style lounge/bar setup with a quite friendly ambiance as you enter and keeps BLUE theme in relation to ABSORB - water - liquid theme. I would say they got one of the cleanest, a simple fancy bar I have seen in recent times. The place has a groove for sure with its unique Bali style statue overlooking the place and it just works.

Coming to food, Chef and team got most of the basics right its just the execution and consistency needs to shape up but they are down south in this improvement. Some dishes that really connected were #HoneyChilliWaterChestnut , #MongolianChicken and #TangyPrawns from starters. No nonsense good flavors appealing to pub crowd. I wouldn't much recommend from mains as more or less they were ordinary. Pizzas were richly topped with ingredients but it just needs some more flavor finesse. Desserts, I frankly felt OKish with #SeasonalCheeseCake being so bland, #BakedGulabJamun being passable but to me that #Darssan with ice cream was nice and simple winner. Drinks served were optimal and good. Nothing WOW but works again in such a place.

My top USP observation was service, in that madness of. DJ playing insane beats and noise levels so high, their staff sounds ethical, hygienic and very polite. The steward MR. Rajesh who attended us in this dinner was a perfect representation of it.

This place has some nice DJ cranking just mind-blowing mixes and you just cannot stand still and he knows how to get the CROWD up on their feet.

IF you are up for a place to just hang out with buddies, good vibes, decent food, and music is a priority for you, you will definitely get ABSORB-ed here.

Recommend for: Good vibes, Great DJ, the perfect hangout
