Outside tea and Vada sales are done inside the train not there...
Inside railway catering services is available...

This station has 4platforms.
Clean and hygienic .
Neatly maintain.
Seperate toilet for mens , womens and differently abled person.
Drinking water facilities available .
Need more seating with roof wanted in 2,3,4 platforms.
Easy to communicate with staffs.
Canteen available.
Need more development works

Virudhunagar railway station is a junction. But i doubt that because the facilities and amenities are not up to the standard of a junction. But the new building is a small satisfaction to sore eyes. Central hall is a bit sophisticated but the platforms lack neatness. Coach indicators are not working properly. They are not present in all platforms.
