I have had a very bad experience here. I reached Vellore at around 3 AM in night. An auto driver tricked me there and they said the rent is only 350 per day. I left the auto and when I have put my luggage and family their Nepali caretaker asked me to pay 2000 Rs upfront. I said I may not have to stay for 5 days but he revealed 5 days advance is MUST or he asked me to leave the room immediately at that time of night. I had to agree and paid 1500 Rs. Next morning, the owner called me up and started abusing me with slangs and worst slangs in the world. I just asked him why he is doing it, he said "Pay 250 Rs and leave now" or he will call Gundas. I had to leave immediately to a safer place by paying them 2500 Rs. Later I came to know the owner is Muslim and a well known hooligan in that area.
