This Ashram is located near to many other Ashrams around. Siva sannidhi and Andhra Ashram are on the same road with just 50 mtrs away from each other. Ramanashramam is just about 100 mtrs away. Main temple is abiut 2 kms away. And there are quite a few Asrams walkable distance around this ashram that offer Anna prasadams daily. You can go there for your breakfast and lunch if you dont like to eat in hotels. Room rents are reasonable rs 700 per 24 hrs. You have to call up tye manager atkeast 1 week before to book your room. The Ashram manager is supportive, but little reserved. He can be more friendly with the guests.

Ashram: is an old structure, in a very quiet and tranquil environment, adjacent to Osborne Estate, right opposite lane to Ramanasramam.

Front Office: can be better organised

Rooms: are spacious enough for 2 persons with fresh linen, bed sheets, pillow and attached bathroom with western commode.
Bathrooms: could definitely need better maintenance to remove scales on doors, walls, fittings. Luke warm water is available.
No cupboards that are with lock n key
Gate is open 24hrs for easy access, well lit, safe n secure.

Food: one can try for Annaprasadam at ashrams of Yogi Ramsuratkumar or Seshadr Swami or Ramana Maharshi or at small hotel in the premises of Seshadri Swami ashram.

Billing: cash receipts are provided.
Price: ₹650 for single and ₹750 double occupancy

Manager: Shri. Bala Raju Garu, is very helpful, highly knowledgeable about locale, genuinely interested in making one’s stay and pilgrimage a pleasant experience in every way. He has developed flyers in detail about Girivalam, it’s order, Annaprasadam timings, contact details etc which is very informative.

Overall a nice experience staying here, primarily due to the personal touch of Bala Raju Garu.

This Ashrama not for serving people, it's earning. I know the price was reasonable but the way they are utilised us is very worst experience I had.we went 6 members, I asked multiple times to give one room for all, manager said they don't have any rooms like that only have 3 members sufficient rooms. He gave 2 rooms for us.later we understand there are couple of rooms available to accommodate 6 member.We vacated one room after 6 hours, stayed in one room next 24 hrs. They charged 2500. this price is same in normal hotels as well. I requested them a lot but not agreed to charge less. Not even provided sufficient room,we adjusted in single room only. I totally dispointed ????. Better discuss all formalities and there terms and conditions first. Hot water we opted but only one time it came. I had very bad experience with this Ashram. Please provide atleast some base services.Please support the people who don't know anything in this place.
