Perumal temple in Palayamkottai, near market. I have seen in my life time how local community came together to renovate this old temple. They have done a wonderful job in bringing it to such a state. I have no chance to enter the temple as I have always visited the place only in the afternoon.But I know that the temple is ancient and very famous.Surroundings to the temple are always very neat and clean.Always some peaceful calm is in the place.Many devotional families,particularly Brahmin families are living in the nearby streets to the family.They all maintain and save the devotional effect of the temple.
