It's the margus masjid of Tirunelveli city.located on the banks of Tamirabarani river and very peaceful to pray.
1. Hanafi prayer timings.
2. Has two wheeler parking facility inside the premises but no car parking facility inside.
3. Big masjid with two floors and has good toilet facilities.
4. Has lodging facility with separate building for revenue to it .
5. Kabrstaan near by it.
6. Every Thursday evening sabsaari amaal takes place here.
7. No one can sleep inside the masjid without permission.

Located on the banks of Tamiraibarani River and away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic, it is one of the biggest masjids in Tirunelveli Town. It also has a burial ground. Very calm, quite and peaceful.
