There is no temple without Lord Vinayagar. But one exclusive temple for
Lord Vinayagar is this Manimoortheeswaram Uchista Ganapathi Temple located in the banks of sacred river Tamirabarani.
Shrine is situated very near to Vannarapettai by pass road and a short distance from Tirunelveli Railway station. Road to the temple is so narrow, respective authorities should consider convenience of the pilgrimages

The temple is very hard to locate and the roads to it are kind of narrow. But only those who are gifted and are lucky enough to meet Lord Ganesha of this temple, get to meet him. There are lots of parigaram poojas also done here that you can pay for and have them done. The premises of the main deity is surrounded by lots of other types of Ganesha with each one responsible for solving a problem. The board above each of them details what problem the Lord Ganesha can solve and the mantra to read for that. The surrounding area of the Gopuram is spacious and calming for the mind when the gentle breeze brushes against us. There is a Chandler tree that dances gracefully in the wind and is beautiful to see. There is a beautiful river next to the temple where some people even bathe.
