600 years old temple, located in Tirunelveli - tiruchendur highway place krishnapuram, this temple is famous for stone statues. Most wondering stone statue is manmadhan statue, in that statue manmadhan holding the sugarcane, where the curved sugarcane was drilled into small hole from top to bottom of the sugarcane. If we put a small bean into that hole, the bean fell down in the opposite side. Radhi stone statue is also a famous statue which is opposite to manmadhan statue.

Shri Venkatachalpathy temple in Krishnapuram has some of the finest stone sculptures (mainly with the pillars) on both sides of entrance to the sanctum. Divine Venkatachalpathy Perumal Moolavar. Seperate sannidhis for Shri Alamelu Nachiyar and Shri Padmavathi Thaayaar. Temple is just off the Trinelveli Srivaikundam main road about 13 km from Trinelveli. No crowd at all. Calm and quiet.

Nice place to explore. If you are a lover of old statues you will love this place. The detailing of the statue in this temple is just awesome. Especially the veins of the body and the lady holding the mirror in hand are epic. It's a very iconic place. Old Tamil people nailed it with their talents.
