Earlier this has been a place for drinking alcohol and all other illegal activities. Now the park has been renovated by tuticorin corporation and is well maintained. Now there have been restrictions on entry time and are safe for kids as well as adults. The walk area is pretty small and the recreation activities are limited to some slides and swings. In the morning half of the park will be occupied by silambam practice. In the evening you can go for small walks.

The childrens park which developed recently with new playing grid, drawings , lightings , statues which can easily cover the childrens, nice place to bring kids????

Walking lawns are maintained properly, but all the other things like swings slides, etc, have to be repaired.
