Without doubt Kandavilas serves the best biryanis is Salem. Apart from the biryani and their signature “chicken leg roast”, they serve the best non-veg breakfast in Salem.

The food taste is good but the quantity of the all kind of foods including side dishes are not worth quantity for the cost. The restaurant doesn't have any online money transfer or card payment. We three people eat 1 mutton biriyani, 2 mutton fry, and 2 meals and it costs 850 rupees. But again we eat in another restaurant since very less quantity they served.

The taste of the foods are very authentic and homemade-ish style. Especially their
Khozli roast(8am-11am or 12.30pm) is par excellence you have to definitely try it. And their biryani is also good but for the price it could have been more quantity. They always use only Naattu khozli don't you even thik abt Broiler chicken ????. Overall their prices are likely high but you know its for the quality and traditional cooking. The hotel's timing are Morn 7am-10.30am ___ Aftnoon 11am-2.30pm.
