Salem Town Station is near to collector office and pal market, this station reduce some crowd of salem junction and also makes people easier who located near to salem town. This place have car and bike stand, paid toilets, water doctors and clean environment. This station have only two platform. Mainly I used this station for Chennai trains.

The station is clean and not crowded except during departures. There is a pay and use toilet and wash room facility. It is usable for emergencies and not smelly like other public toilets.
