OOTY Hidden Valley Jungle Camp

The location of the camp is indeed beautiful but the 150 year old bunglow is very ill maintained. Bathrooms stinks, no proper water supply, bed sheets are dirty and stinking. No electricity is provided during day time and just 3-4 hours after sunset. The surrounding area of the bungalow is not maintained at all. And the food was just ok. Nothing extra ordinary. Only hard-core adventure and Trek enthusiasts will like this place. But without basic amenities, it is not worth the amount that the owner charges. It is exhorbitantly high. You don't get value for money.

At morning you can easy to see deer's and peacock's also elephant in jungle. While clicking pic of elephant make sute that camera's flash is off beacause of flash elephant will disturb and try to attack. Morning time is good time to travel here by road and easy to click animals pic also dont throw any plastic in jungle. Maintain jungle clean.

We people live in concrete jungle..But in real jungle life with bone fire ,no electricity, trek to different forest view points and watching wild animals and birds..(etc) its really amazing... Visit this place Once in your life time..
