Peaceful place I visited during Sundays. That too at early morning.

Very wide place and can easily accommodate over 100 people at once.

They have a unique speaker like bamboos that can be fine only in 2 place. One is here another one is in Chennai. Made during British period.

Located near to Madurai railway station. Just 600-700 meters away from station. The church is well maintained. This church is better known as " Holy Redeemer's Church". You can feel wonderful experience coming to this place. This one of the must visit places of Madurai.

The Tamil Evangelical Lutheran Holy Redeemer's Church, as it is known is located just next to one of the entrances to Madurai Junction railway station.
I had occasion to visit this church as I was passing through Madurai in 2019 and I had a few hours between trains.
Though the outside is one of the busiest & noisiest locations one can find in Madurai, located as it is so close to the main railway station and a stone's throw away from the much-visited Madurai Meenakshi temple, inside the church one can experience an amazing calm and a sense of peace flows all over you. One can spend an hour or so in peaceful meditation without any disturbance whatsoever from the busy traffic and business going on outside.
A very invigorating experience...
