Rajaji Children’s Park in Madurai is a popular spot for families with kids.
Located between the Gandhi Museum, and the Tamukkam grounds, 2 kms from the Central Bus Stand, the park has play equipment for kids, some eateries and hotels and a collection of birds.
Rajaji Park is owned and maintained by the Corporation of Madurai and is open daily from 10am to 8pm.
Rajaji Park in Madurai is famous for combining recreational walks, sports, zoos, and scenic natural landmarks.
Thus, it is one of the most important family entertainment centers that provide activities and events for all family members.
There is a section for children that includes games and swings, and another section for animals of various kinds.
For every Ride we have to spent some amount.
Aquarium Fishes are sold here but Costly.
Many of the Statue present in the Park must be Maintained,because many statue are broken.

Once upon a time it is like Disney World for 90s kids.. a only park wt that time..now after malls emerging this place lost its popularity... But still the they are maintaining at above average level and good to take kids to spend time for an hour or two.. much better than Mukkulam lake park.. few snack shops and ample space to walk around.. no parking facilities for cars and small open road side parking for two wheelers...

Great place to take kids but lol it's quite run down and is a remnant of what is was 30-25 years or so ????
Going to Rajaji park was total nostalgia esp the giant wheel! Sp. thanks to the operators who gave us an extra spin ????

(Some) younger kids may have fun despite the broken statues and "holy" slides. So much potential for this place, only wish the corporation upgrades this place! ????
Even the pet store could do so so much better.

Btw expect for the slides everything else is charged 30-50 per ride, per person.
