I called around and,compared rates in Madurai and found this service to be the most reasonable and also the most professional when answering my questions. My driver was efficient, polite and safe. Especially safety is important to me. Also, as a solo female, I felt perfectly comfortable with my driver.

Other taxi services wanted to charge quite a bit more, but were also not clear about extra charges that would be charged. Drop Taxi had a fixed price and then anything over the distance between cities was 13 rupees exyra per km. That was reasonable.
Best deal for long distance travel, if the trains are full, canceled or there's only night buses. Which is exactly what happened in my case. Good service, give them a try!

I had contacted Droptaxi for a round trip from Bangalore to Ooty. Mr. Tamilselvan assured best service and sent Mr. Raju who was an excellent, well informed and matured driver. Along with driving duty, he assisted us almost as a guide and helped us explore places around Ooty at right timeslots during which crowed was relatively less. As a surprise pack, we also covered Mysore zoo which was never In our plan. Based on his suggestion, we did cover that first before heading to Ooty and the crowd was very less in the morning slot. On the total expenditure, it was worth it and was relatively less compared to the likes of Ola, Redbus taxi etc. Overall great cab experience and hearty thanks to Mr. Tamilselvan for the service.

We hired a Sedan from Drop Taxi Madurai in December 2022 from Madurai airport u003e Kanyakumari u003e Rameswaram u003e Madurai airport. Car was in excellent condition, Driver (Kali) was very professional and friendly. Highly recommended and will hire again for future travel requirements. Keep up the great work!
