Well maintained location. Beautiful lawns. Long and beautiful walking pavements. Beautiful age-old trees to feel wonderful about and to sit under and have an amazing time with friends and family. Easy access. Almost-free access - entry fee is just 5 (or I don't know if it was for bike). Great damn views from atop the dam ????.
I shall give 9/10 for the maintenance of the park area! That's what makes it a great visit for sure.

No or not many shops around. Better take your water and food. Not sure if it's allowed officially, but I did see couple of families having their home cooked feast. ????

Cons: Bad smelling decolourised water. Surely un fir for taking a dip in or to drink! But shockingly people ARE seen taking a dip, swimming and having their great time in the water from the dam gates near the crossing bridge. I really wonder how and why!

Parking : There's a parking stand/lot. Mostly paid.(or if the 5Rs. collected at the entry near the main road was for this). I and friends had parked just outside the dam park's gate as there were no vehicles anywhere.

Very nice place to visit with friends or family. The close view with dam is very good. There is a park near dam where we can spend time for meetups. Clean and well maintained. No designated parking area, need to park your vehicle in the road. Entry charge for adult is ₹5/head.

Nice garden. Beautiful view of dam. You can also take bath. Nice Deer park for kids. Better go in morning or evening. Good fish fry available. Lots of monies. Don't take any food item with you.
