A very beautiful divya desam temple of Vishnu. The temple has immaculately maintained garden all around. The temple compund is large and is under ASI control. Inside the temple in the prakaram there are richly carved continuous stone relief panels. In the night good lighting by powerful flashlights is done by ASI. Second oldest temple in Kanchi after Kailasnatharr temple, built by Pallav King Narsimhavarman II.
