In erode city few temples are too old and powerful. The Lord siva temple is one of among them. Recently the temple was renovated. Maha kumbapisekam has done. In this temple Lord siva named Kapaliswara. There is a 800+ years old Vanni tree on back side to the temple. Usually erode people will call Eswaran kovil. It's situated nearest to market and erode bus stand. Perumal temple also situated very nearest only.
