Brough Memorial Church is a CSI Church is located in the beginning of Brough Road, near Panneer Selvam Park circle, in the heart of Erode, India. The construction of the church was started by Rev. Antony Watson Brough in1930 and dedicated in 1933 by Rt. Rev. Azariah. Mr. Brough came to Erode under London Missionary Society. Mrs. Jane Brough’s Memmorial is just outside the church (Pl see the photos). At the entrance, there are inscriptions stating Only God in both Tamil and Ya Kudah in Arabic.
The church is constructed with Indo-Saracenic architecture. Stones, Lime mortar ground and egg were the materials used for building and plastering. The building has five arches, in which hexagonal structure and are carved in the middle out of a square pedestal. There are 10 stone pillars measuring 2.5 meters circumference and 2.3 meters height

Built by a Protestant Christian missionary born in Australia.. run schools hospitals .,. The materials are brought from Karur.. built with brick and lime mortar.. the depth of the foundation is equal to the height of the wall...

It is one of the oldest Churches in the South India and it was built by Rev Brough who was an Missinory and also was the Mayor of Erode.
