One of the oldest pani poori spots in Coimbatore. They have all varities of chaats like Pani poori, Masal poori, Bhel poori, cutlet, Dahi poori, Sev Poori, Kaalan, and also mixed of some amongst.
All are of south indian style esp the Masal used is very unique and south indian.
North indians might find it having totally different taste than what they know and used to.
We have been going there for years and the taste remains the same. We love their poori it has unique taste and special crunch to it.
I have tried many chaat places around CBE and this place has unique taste. Softer on the tummy side as well.
Ambience is not that good bit congested. Don't expect to sit and dine. Location is also amidst the rush crowded area. Hard to find good parking space.
But worth the visit for its unique south indianised chaats taste special to Coimbatore.

I came across a video to know that he's called father of Pani puri ????.

Folks from north India may not like it. Because Coimbatore has its own unique recipe and taste when it comes to chaat and it's not like what is in North India.

I've been to this place since I was a kid. My dad picks me up in his scooter from tuition and we'll have a snack here on the way. Cost has increased a lot since then, but there's no one who's close to beating him down when it comes to unique poori and flavours.
