I was there due to shoulder injury and the doctor said I need to go for surgery to fix it. However went for second opinion to senior most Ortho in Vadapalani and he confirmed that surgery is t necessary.
Very much money minded clinic and doesn’t provide correct treatment. Please avoid this and he does treat in other hospitals too.

Very money minded and gives incorrect treatment.

I got injured while landing from a jump while playing badminton. My feet and the part around ankle got swollen. This doctor took x-ray and told that I got a fracture pointing to some area in x-ray. A pop cast was put and he asked me to keep it for 3 weeks. He charged 4000 for pop cast. In 5 days I had to travel for a function in hometown. I asked doctor if I can travel with it(with which I was totally fine), to which he said he will remove it and put it back once I return ( as I would return in 3 days). After returning he said that it would cost me another 4000 for the fresh one and to avoid that may be we can try physio for 4, 5 days( a session costs 500) and then decide if pop cast is required(which he would have surely said is necessary). I got fishy and went to a renowned ortho, though he was far.

He examined my leg and looked at the x-ray taken at tirumala and said it's doubtful(I failed to ask the details of why it was doubtful) and took a new x-ray and found that it was a sprained ankle and said I can walk normally with a binder (that costed me 150) and he cured it completely in 15 days.

Dr. Sivabalan puts pop cast for any injury and suggests physio for any person who visits him and sells every stock he has. He tries to develop conversation and assesses if the patient will buy his lies or not and then suggests treatment which people may mistake as being friendly.

I visited the doctor last Saturday with knee pain. 3 months back I had similar problem. I went to him. He gave few tablets and asked to do physiotherapy for 5 days. This time again he suggested physiotherapy and knee excercise. I paid the consultation fee and went for physiotherapy again. Then he asked me to take few blood test. since I have taken a master health chk up 3 months back, I told him I have already taken those test. He checked the report and told me that the test he has suggested was not covered in the master health chk up and told me to take fresh test. When I checked in his clinic, the test cost was 4000. When I went to aarti scan, the same tests costed only 1800. Only after the report came I realized tat 4 out of 6 tests were already done in my master health check up. He has simply asked me to take the test again. When I went to show the test report, he again charged me consultation fee. He gave few tablets depending on the report. This doc basically suggest physiotherapy to every person who visits the clinic. Pls think twice before visiting him, since he is money minded.
