Surprised to find this gem particularly in this location. Every time I visit India (about 4months every year) I make several trips here. Food is very tasty as evidenced by the number of regular customers. But for me the most important thing is cleanliness. Once I suggested that they use a separate vessel for drawing from the good drinking water drum instead of dunking every carafe handled by customers and cleaning staff at every table susceptible to picking up all kinds of muck. I was amazed that they implemented this immediately--if anything, it demonstrates their commitment to cleanliness. On the next visit, I noticed they had installed water purifiers. For lunch you get rice with about five different gravies veg/nonvegetarian generous helping of curries and kootus; and of course you can order whatever fish/chicken/liver/etc. dish they have. They also have biryani and different rice concoctions. As for the price, I feel guilty every time I go there. (Opposite State Bank of Travancore on Tharamani Link Road near Foot overbridge.)

Recently we went here,
* Not well cleaned
* No restroom
* You need to wait for sometime for order itself.
* visible from Tharamani to velachery road
* no wheelchair accessibility

ordered egg kal dosa, parota.. They told parota is not there, so given "Man parota", sorry while eating some sand was there in the parota.. Maybe it came from the parotta kallu.. We said that to them and had it. Kuruma was not tasty.. Asked another kuruma, after that weighter disappeared.. ????. Then we had potti, and one kothuparotta with the same sand.. ????.. After soo long my order came mutta kallu dosa.. It was not good taste..

Average shop.. They keep busy but not concentrate on any customer.. Okay.. If you are so hungry and have a food here.. You can go..
