Sri Meenakshi Ambal Samedha Sri Perumbakeeshwarar Temple, Perumbakkam, Chennai.
A very old Sivalingam with square Avudayar with very old Nandhi is all that is there in a Balayam and the main tremple with all Sannidhi is getting constructed. There is separate Sannidhi for Pillayar alone now and you can see Dhakshinamoorthy facing south in the goshtam of the newely constructed grabhagraham.
You can see an Aadhi Sivalingam which apparently is over 300 years old under the peepal tree it’s very beautiful to see how it’s stuck to the roots of the tree. In the same premise you have Sri Pazhandi Amman who is the Grama devathai of Perumbakkam. Also, there is a temple for Sridevi and Bhoodevi sametha Sri Sathyanarayana Perumal. In the praharam you have a separate Sannidhi for Anjaneyar. On the back of all these temples is a beautiful Lotus pond with padithurai and lot of fishes. People visit here in the evenings to feed the fishes. The temple is on the Perumbakkam main road itself and can be easily accessed.
Daily temple pooja starts at 6AM.
