This temple is approximately 300-350 years old, in the heart of the city in Nungambakkam. A very traditional and beautiful place if worship.

This is our Perumal Temple in Nungambakkam. For almost a week Brahmotsavam was performed and under Sri Prasanna Archakar Swamigal, it was indeed a grand function. All the Archakar Swamigal and the Staff members of the temple, performed their duties sincerely. We are really fortunate to have participated in the Holy Function.

I am resident of Nungambakkam, Chennai. I frequent this temple with my wife. A serene place to indulge in prayers. This temple is being renovated with new Gopuram etc with deity Lord Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumaal in standing position blessing the disciples. And other deities here are Tahyaar Padmavathy, Lord Narasimhar, Lord Ramar and Lord Hanuman, Lady Andal.
