We went to buy vegetables the other day and that time only noticed that there is a Temple here in this place.

So few days we decided to visit, and we went in the evening. Temple is in a very very crowded place and junction, hence parking two wheelers also is not that easy, so don't even think about bringing your car.

As we entered we observed temple, is small, compact and very clean too. We were happy and glad to see the crowd inside the temple.

Thiru ooraga perumal faces north from the main sanctum sanctorum with sridevi and bhoodevi thaayar in a standing posture. Thaayar is also facing north but from a separate sannadhi. No andal sannadhi present. No kodi maram, no rajagopuram, not sure if the temple has a pond dedicated to it. Two entrance, one from the side road and one small entrance from the main trunk road.

From the looks of it and from the display board etc, it is clear that it is privately managed temple and not coming under the HR & CE (Thank God), and definitely it is maintained VERY CLEAN and VERY WELL LIT, than most of the temples that are coming under the HR & CE.

We had a good darshan of the lord. There are other sannadhi's for lakshmi narasimhar, for anjaneyar and sakkarathazhwar.

Was so happy and appreciate the fact, that the temple authorities were providing prasadam to the devotees who were coming, touch your heart and tell me is there any temple that comes under HR & CE that gives prasadam to the devotees who come to their temples. hmmmm

If you have time and if you are in this area, then you can think of visiting the temple.

Small but divinely temple. Close to the porur signal, hidden in plain sight.
Has seperate sannidhi for Charkrathalvar, Narasimhar, Varahar, Thaiyar and Anjeneyar apart from Ooraga perumal along with Sri Devi and Boodevi
