Raj Park Hotel Chennai

We had a two nights stay at this hotel. Located in the heart of the city!!! Rooms are old, some need work( there was a blockage in the bathroom but the housekeeping fixed it in a jiffy)their service is quick and good. The best part was the food at their restaurant. We would look forward for dinners!! Very friendly staff and front desk!

1. The hotel's cleaning service is excellent, but there are some issues with the age of the rooms and the functioning of the electrical points and electronic appliances.
2. The bathroom is luxurious, but it would be better if there was a separate area for taking a bath.
3. The service at the reception could be improved.
4. There is a lack of amenities such as towels and a proper dressing area in the swimming pool area.
5. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located in the center of town and is easily accessible to the railway station, bus terminals and beach.

The hotel is located in a gem of a location, and the rooms were really nice and reasonable rates also. The lock had some issue for our room, they immediately brought in a maintenance person and solved the issue. I will definitely choose this hotel again if I'm visiting Chennai.
