The east side of the metro is totally non-functional. Anybody entering from the New-Avadi Road side entrance will have to go all the way to the west side to swipe-in or buy the ticket.

There is no escalator to scale down the long flight of stairs also from this entry/exit point though the space is available, just that it wasn’t realised. Fix both the above and it’s worth a star more.

Most of the time 5 out of 6 of the self-recharge machines will be non-functional. The ticketing system is being revamped. The travel card recharge via the app and using the kiosk is a pain- not that the app always work, but whenever it does, the kiosk will fail!

Well planned but poorly executed metro station. Hence I’d call this a handicapped metro station.

The available staff is cooperative and kind.

I did have a few issues related to my travel card which weren’t able to be immediately resolved as they had some hardware issues, but it felt like a genuine issue wherein they were dependent on the bigger infrastructure- same story as before, big plans, poor execution.

Cleanliness is up to the mark! Very cooperative staff and an easy going station. Appreciable security checks. Wearing a mask is a compulsion without which travelling will not be permitted. Tickets are very reasonable and the journey is not tiring at all.

Nice and clean station....have been a regular visitor....escalator and lift facility available inside for elderly....two wheeler and four wheeler parking is also available outside...thank you Chennai Metro for such a great service....
