I didn't want to waste the food so I carefully poured oil on top and started eating. The rice was undercooked and chewy. Kadhi Pakoda was a joke without salt and flavor. The chickpeas were a mash of junk, not a single chickpea I could separate from the masala. It was bland and tasteless mashed together. See the attached pictures, after pouring about 4 to 5 spoons of oil from above, check the remaining oil beforehand. Watch chickpeas mashed with spices like this one.

By the time the food entered my system (when I was having tandoori roti and chole) I had gastrocolic reflex and had to defecate. I understood that there was something wrong with the food and stopped eating. Raised my issue to Swiggy (didn't help much and I think the ratings for this restaurant are wrong/paid). Not much could be done so I fell asleep and woke up with severe pain in my stomach followed by diarrhea and vomiting. Lots of belching with the rancid taste of last night's dinner.

It is almost 8 in the morning with this pain and I feel no one else should have to go through this.

Please avoid this restaurant like a plaque. They are not authentic North Indian cuisine. And they are serving stale food with oil without caring for the health of the people. I'm pretty sure none of the restaurant staff would eat their own food. I wish food chain approval rules in India were as strict as in western countries to stop such fake cuisine-d health hazard restaurants

I rarely write reviews but this one had to be written. PRETENTIOUS north Indian cuisine with HEALTH HAZARD. Beware!!!

I am a North Indian living in Chennai. I ordered through swiggy craving for some North Indian food on a Sunday night. It will be good to note that I am a healthy person with no disease, regularly workout and have ability to digest heavier meals and junk food on my cheat days. This information will come relevant with the experience I am going to share on how bad the food was.

My order was kadhi pakoda rice and Amritsar chole with tandoori roti.

When the order arrived I let it sit for 5 to 10 mins as I had other work to attend. When I returned to the food, shockingly, there was a thick layer of oil on the top separated due to the time I allowed it to sit. Almost 3 to 4 times of what should be consumed in a day. Serious risk of cardiovascular disease.

I didn't want to waste the food so I poured out the oil on top carefully and started eating. The rice was undercooked and chewy. The kadhi pakoda was a joke with no salt and taste. The chole was a mash of junk, there was not one chole I could separate from masala. It was mashed together tasteless and bland. Refer the attached pictures, see the residual oil after pouring about 4 to 5 teaspoons of oil from top already. See the chole so mashed up with masala.

By the time the food entered my system (while I was having tandoori roti and chole) I had a hard gastrocolic reflex and had to poop. I understood something was wrong with the food and stopped eating. Raised my issue to swiggy (not of much help and I assume the ratings for this restaurant there are inaccurate/paid). Nothing much could be done so I slept and woke up with a shooting pain in my stomach followed by diarrhoea and vomiting. A lots of burp with the stale taste of the last night's food.

It's around 8AM with this suffering and I feel nobody else should go through this.

Please avoid this restaurant like a plaque. They are not authentic North Indian cuisine. And they are serving stale food with loads of oil without any consideration for people's health. I am pretty sure none of the restaurant workers would eat their own food. I wish the food chain approval rules in India were as strict as western countries to shut down such fake cuisine-d health hazardous restaurants.
