Kiosk on mint street in sowcarpet. Being indori I searched for poha in chennai, a place which had no connection to it. The guy was from kota( rajasthan) and knew a bit about poha.
I thought he would be from Gujarat as the street was full of them. The poha wasn't like the indori but it was good be called poha atleast as you can't expect that level from a place in Chennai.
I had khaman and kachori too, they both tasted good and their chutney was a good to go with them.
You have to either stand or take away as their only place for 1 to sit inside.

This shop is located in the Mint street of Sowcarpet area in Chennai. Famous spot for Chat items like Poha, Dabeli, Kachori and many more items. Price is reasonable. Quality and taste wise good. For those of you want to visit this shop, my advise is to come by 2 wheeler and parking the cars in that area is not possible. Landmark: Next to K Square Textile Showroom

A small snacks shop in Mint street. Here you get Dhbeli, Vada Pav, Poha ... etc.

There Dhbeli is very tasty. A must try.
