All staff are very caring and paying attention to individual patients. I would like to place on record the excellent service provided by floor manager Ms. Abhilasha. After surgery, madam explained in detail the steps to be followed for safe eye care. Best wishes to the team. May they continue to provide good service to the patients who come to them.

Took my grandad for a checkup because he had a drooping eyelid. They checked his vision (even though it wasn’t relevant), checked his glasses (even though it wasn’t relevant) then did this test and that, waited the standard 1 hour after dilation drops, etc., only to tell us to go to some other branch two days later. Took us 5 hours to get in and out of there. The only reason we went there was because our usual doctor was not available. At the end of it we went to our doctor two days later to be told that it’s an infection and he gave some drops and it got better after a week. The basic requirement of a clinic or hospital is to address the patient’s concern. Not one person asked us what the problem was before deciding if the above tests were required. Having a process is good, but they shouldn’t feed everyone into the process uniformly.

Edit: they also prescribed MRI and blood tests which would have cost a bomb. Thankfully we didn’t go in for them.

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital is located at the left side of the road while travelling from Porur to Valasaravakkam, before crossing satya showroom you can find it.
They have a good compact parking at the ground floor.
Hospital Management is good and doctors are well experienced and very polite, while explaining and during treatment too.
Specifically after surgery they take very good care of the patients.
They don't have surgery facilities at this hospital, but they take patients to maduraivayol branch and get the surgeries done and remaining treatment and dressing could be continued here, not a issue, may be the surgeon will be different but treatments are same.
Hospital was maintained clean and neat with proper seating arrangements.
Do wear a mask at hospital.
