I tried the biryani today and it has that woody smoky taste which you won't get in most biryanis in chennai. But other than that I felt the taste could definitely be improved a bit with more spices like cloves or something. Also, I would say that quality wise it is better than most places in the city

We had the pleasure of tasting Degh Biriyani and true to their tagline, the biriyani was delicious and tasty. The bread halwa and Brinjal dalcha were equally luscious and it was one of the best biriyani we had in recent times. Would like to visit this restaurant again!

If you like Food and if you like Biryani esp the typical Bhai Kalyana Biryani you must eat here. The Biryani is actually not too spicy and believe me it is very smooth. It goes very well with the signature brinjal gravy. To top it they also provide you a great sweet. The icing on the cake though is the Degh Fried Chicken. Crispy, juicy and very tasty, it actually goes well along with the Biryani or it can be a separate starter too. Great food and value for money. The quantity they give is actually large. And unlike other places the Biryani has an almost equal volume of chicken and rice. So go ahead and relish it if you are a Biryani lover.
