When I took admission of my son in the school, the headmaster told that they follow ICSE curriculum and montessori methodology. But it is my surprise to know that ATA does not have recognition from ICSE/CBSE. It has applied for recogntion from state Govt. The school is not able to provide EMIS number to a student, which is mandatory in Tamilnadu. Think twice before sending your ward to a bunch of untrained people. The school has zero discipline teaching to kids, and the headmaster told that it is not her responsibility. The headmaster is expert in measuring the indiscipline to a student by using the measurement for length !!! Don't invite darker future to the next generation in the name of holistic teaching.

The principal is the biggest disadvantage of this school. Also, there is a person name sake as director to talk to us only about fees and focused on how to collect the money. This school doesn't have any future with these two people and highly irresponsible staff there to progress. No moral values and they dont know how to assess the children to legible way. I too completely agree with the other parents who wrote their experience here in this review page. We made a appointment and met them the next day. The principal and director made us wait hours together and kids too were waiting. We kept on asking for the meeting and assessment. As we planned and brought the kids with us for the same. The lady(principal) speaks so arrogantly and with so much of rudeness. I am really worried about the other kids in the school now. The Principal tags herself as a special educator with zero tolerance and manners. She doesn't even look at our face and talk to us. She is fit to be a warden of a hostel with bad rules and background. The way they have handled the kids and the parents is not acceptable in any ways. The principal thinks she is on the top of the world and she knows it all. Never go by the looks and ambiance of the school, they are not going to be major role in their educational life.
Parents who wants to try this school are under severe risk of their child's psychological growth. I strongly dont recommend to anyone if they give a option of 'NO FEES' concept and offer us a seat there. Rather we can enroll our kids in a decent government school possible. WORST SCHOOL WORST MANAGEMENT NO MORALS

I visited ATA about 3 weeks ago to enquire about the admission process for my 5 year old. The visit was so disappointing that I have lost my respect for the Theosophical society as an institution itself.

Though there were couple of admin staff sitting in the office, nobody bothered to check why I was there and guide me. When I walked in myself and told a staff I have come to enquire, she had a blank look on her face like she didn't follow what I was trying to say. Upon repeating the request, she made me wait for half hour to meet the Principal.

While I was sitting, the so called Principal was shouting at the admin staff and the maids there on some issue. I felt bad sitting there and witnessing all this.

The Principal, not sure of her name, is the most rude and pathetic person you can ever meet. I introduced myself and told her I wanted to know the admission process, curriculum details, no of children and staff. Not only she was reluctant to provide any information, she was very disrespectful in the way she was answering. She asked me to look up their brochure for info, when infact the brochure doesn't provide with any info needed for decision making.

She then tells me, they admit kids of parents who believe in the Theosophical values and not everyone who visits them, when I know for a matter of fact that is not the case. Then she abruptly ends the conversation saying the admissions for current year is closed. Wonder why she or her staff couldn't say that at the beginning.

I completely echo with the reviews provided by two other parents here. When the management and staff are themselves not being respectful and courteous, wonder how they would groom the future generation of kids.

I would never want my kid to be part of this academy ever. Parents, beware. Please think twice before enrolling here. All the goodness they talk about in the website and brochure is all a facade.

I would have wished to give a "0" rating, unfortunately there is no option.
