An average breakfast (Tiffin), below our expectation.

We stopped here after our visit to Matsya Narayana Temple on a Sunday morning.

The parking was handled by valet.
The restrooms had a foul smell.
The restaurant was crowded and we had to wait for 15-20 minutes.

The items we ordered with ratings -
1. Pongal - Just average 3/5
2. Medu Vada -Very tasty properly fried 5/5
3. Rawa Dosa- Crisp. 4/5
4. Plain Dosa- Crisp. The Batter was over fermented. 4/5
5. Masala Dosa - Crisp. The Batter was over fermented. The Masala was fine. 4/5
6. Idli - The batter was over fermented. The first item of the order came in the end. The idli's were sticky too. 2/5
7. Filter Coffee - 3/5

Atmosphere - The place was too crowded (3/5).
Service - The Service was poor. The waiter had too many tables to attend to and the poor guy was virtually running to cater to the Heavy load of customers. (2/5).

Good to go place for vegetarian people, food served was totally South style and well cooked. A2b is known for its chain in all over Chennai . If you are going in peak hours be prepared for a waiting of 15 to 20 minutes . Their special dosa is the first thing to try if you are going for the first time .

A2b has always been my go to restaurant when it comes to pure vegetarian food and sweet varieties! It’s one of “The Best” in Sweets and snacks varieties in south India in particular. I generally go for Dosai or idly for breakfast and South Indian thali/sambar rice, Curd rice and finish with juice or Falooda. I recommend the sweet lovers to try the sweet items here!!
