The campsite is very basic and there isn't a lot of space to pitch tents here. The walk to the campsite is well laid out from yuksom and you will cross 2 suspension bridges to reach the spot. The trail is easy to moderate with a few easy ascents and descents. Be ware of leeches during the monsoon season.

This is the first camping site on the way to Kanchenjunga base camp. Many people will be tenting here for a day and walk to the next day. This is reachable after 5km from Yuksom, the starting point of Goechela trek. All facilities are here including good toilet and a shop which serve hot drinks and noodles and some cool drinks. You can fill the water bottle from here. Its in the middle of jungle and no wild animals. Toilet is free of use and clean too

Sachen is the first campsite in the Goecha La Trek. This campsite is approximately 4 km ahead of Yuksom through the Kanchenjunga National Park. The campsite is within the thick forest of Pine, Rhododendron, and Magnolia trees.
