Ukeela is such a wonderful person to be around with. She is a superhost having done wonders with the homestay at such a young age. I stayed there for 6 days and my stay was perfect thanks to Ukeela and her mother. If you want to destress from your regular City life and breathe fresh air with positive people then this is your place.

If you are into bird watching like me or just like nature then there are many forest trails where you can go for small hikes.

This Homestay is an absolute bliss amidst the nature, in the lap of mountains. The owners of the property, are very welcoming & attentive towards the guests. They treated us like family & we so felt like home, there. The view of the mountain ranges clearly visible from the place, was a bonus. After sunset, the stars in the clear sky & the lights of houses in the slopes of mountains were alike, & it looked surreal at the horizon. The 4 day’s stay at the Homestay, went by like a blink of an eye. Ukeela & especially her sister Yangkila cooked delicious food for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing time at the Homestay & wish to revisit the entire experience again. ????

An ideal homestay for getting back to nature and spending sometime in a beautiful village. I have visited Yangsum twice and on my first visit I stayed for 20 days and had a fantastic time. Ukila's family treated me like one of their own, and I consider myself fortunate and grateful to have met such lovely people. I hope that more and more people get to stay here and enjoy the bliss.
