A short hike through the jungles from Rinchenpong Monastery will lead you to the stairs that vanish upward within the jungles. Follow the stairs to reach this amazing place. A ward to caution though - in the monsoon months be careful of leeches - they abound the area.

An unknown wonder in Rinchenpong.. Resum Monastery is one of the most unexplored places in west sikkim. A small trek from Rinchenpong through a forested path climbing a steep slope leads to this 350 year old monastery.. A must visit for people who like to explore the unexplored..
