Small lord Shiva temple located at heart of Lower Kingston. It is look after by local club named Pragati Sangh. Actually the temple was established by Lt Padma Gurung. Later on she handed the temple and land to local people before she left the place. Local people who are mostly the members of Pragati Sangh, now have taken the responsibility of looking after the temple. At regular intervals, the Sangh does maintenance and cleanliness of temple and colouring. Any well-wishers can do the same voluntarily.
Here local people perform many rituals and pujas. During the month of Shravan, people offer water to the Lord Shiva.
The Sangh has planned to develop the temple in future.
