The hotel is highly recommended with cozy home-like rooms, clean washrooms with complimentary toiletries, authentic Tibetan atmosphere, welcoming and trustworthy staff, good views from every part of the hotel, a well-organized and decorated reception area with a guitar for recreation, and a display of the first computer. The location is also great and safe with a police post across the street. Overall, give the hotel a five-star review.

Of the 2 stars, one goes to the location and other goes to the view from their hotel. Otherwise it was not a good experience.
They provide misleading information and pictures online. After completing booking and payment when you arrive at their hotel they will give you different rooms. Also the staffs are smiling unhelpful people.
Initially they gave us really small and dirty rooms which they claim to be super deluxe. The lights in that room were broken and hanging in a dangerous way. When we complained they tried to through us in even smaller rooms. Later when we complained in the online room-booking portal, they gave us spacious rooms. Those rooms were also very dusty, bathroom was not clean at all.
It is best to check in after you reach Pelling instead of pre-booking as it will be costly, people will cheat you, you'll not get a desired room.

Never had such a bad experience from anywhere else. Except the location everything was poor. There is no lift in the hotel as we got our room in the fifth floor. There were no electricity for one night and they dont have power back up. And they were not at all responding and care about guests. No heater providing for such a climate and when we asked they provided one for 300 rupees per nigh and that too stop working after half an hour. Irresponsible staffs and management. Pathetic rooms and services. Not at all recommended.
