A place which is overrated in reviews on Gangtok.
The place sells fresh vegetables, clothes and such. Caters to the needs of the local populace, but doesn't have anything for tourists.
Tried the local cheese, churpi made of Yak milk, which is hard and tastes like cardboard. I'm told there's a soft variety too, which was not available for sale.
There was an organic outlet serving local Vegetables which was overpriced, and the seller disinterested.
Can be given a miss.

This area near MG road, The crowded area where you can buy winter clothes and antique pieces for home decor at a reasonable price.. there are a lot of wooden made materials available there such as key chain purses home decor wind chimes and mirrors. You will get umbrella sunglasses caps here . Nice crowded place
