Unfortunately the rope way was closed due to annual maintainance when I was visited in November, rope way every year close between November and December due maintainance if u wish to visit here avoid these months the cost of ropeway per person is Rs 100

Only visit in no option situation, because very worst behavior of ticket councellor. Risk is almost 50 - 50 , it depends on you but very short distance about 800mts each side.
Price is chippest as other services in gangtok as well as Sikkim.
But there is no seat so you can explore in it by standing, 20 people's capacity at a time.

Spectacular view of the entire city in this ropeway. It closes at 5pm so make sure u get in time as there will be long queue.
