oolala - Your Lake House in the Center of Udaipur

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the green room at oolala. Our room was lovely with beautiful views of the lake on two sides. Jitu and Lovely are amazing hosts who helped us to feel so welcome and gave us all the information we needed to make the best of our time in Udaipur. Manish was very kind and helpful to us during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the location is great!

Lake House was very homely and we enjoyed a warm stay. We were there almost a month ago. We stayed in one of the biggest room (the Blue room) and it was comfortable for three people. The location is very convenient, close to all the major must-visits. The hosts were incredible and so was the caretaker (Manish) there. They were guiding not just during the stay but also from the airport to the Lake House. They marked out the best way to reach the Lake House on the map. During the stay they were also thinking with us to plan the agenda as to where all we can go. They were like family for those couple of days. We were short of time, so could not enjoy a full hearty breakfast.

But please be noted that there is no car parking facility at the stay. You might have to park the car at some walking distance. Also since it is right on the edge of the lake, make sure you close the windows in the evening, else mosquitos could accompany you at the night.
But overall it was an excellent and hassle-free experience.

Excellent guest house by the lake. Great views from each room to see the lakes, perfect for sunset. They have a nice rooftop as well with view over Udaipur. Close to everything. The family who runs it are super kind and helpful. They gave us a lot of useful tips and provided a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!
