The hostel is located a bit away from all the hustle and is housed in a property that has got the best lawn out of any hostel in Pushkar. The dorms are also less crowded and the common area is also airy. Though the airy nature of the common area posed difficulty in hanging out there in the winter nights, I am pretty sure it will be a delight during summers. They also lit a bonfire in the lawn on request. The caretaker was polite and requires special mention. Thanks for a great stay, GoStops Pushkar!

A place with great rooms, a fantastic location in Pushkar, and a really nice lawn. This could easily have been a 5 star rating but unfortunately the staff and some minor things were a bit disappointing:

- the reception felt like it was empty almost 24/7

- a staff member who spoke almost no English knocked on our door at 10pm and simply demanded "key key", we didn't know who he was and shut the door. The next day I was at reception asking for laundry, and had the keys in my hand, and the same staff member just took the keychain from my hands and started removing the key? I took them back and was a bit angry. Another member of staff then came to explain the situation and apparently they mistakenly gave us an extra key on our keychain which was of the dorms, and they needed it back. This was understandable, but they couldn't have gone about getting the key back from us in a more unprofessional way.

- they gave us no information about the opening times of the on site kitchen, and no details of the amenities of the hostel. The only time we were offered a menu was on the last morning for bfast. (Menu was nowhere to be found before this)

- the check in process is unnecessarily complex. Even though they take a scan of your passport and Indian visa, you need to then tediously write out all these details in a book. These details they wanted us to write included email address, passport date of issue and date expiry, issuer of passport, Indian visa number, arrival date in India, expiry of Indian visa, email address. I have been to lots of hostels in India and have always had to fill in some details on this kind of book, but never in this much detail.

- wifi the last 2 days was painfully slow

Positives:
- amazing lawn
- nice common areas
- clean room
- choice of AC/fan in the room
- there was always hot water
- great location
- helped us book a tuk tuk back to Ajmer railway station

The rooms and property well maintained. Highlights of the property is the Garden Area. The place has such a nice vibes and crowd. Service is good.Food is also very good. And on reasonable price. The Host Mr. Pandey was a Good man he help us in all ways like a brother , we meet first time but when we there like we are old friends .My warm recommendation to you all . And at the end all the staff was very humble i am very happy with my stay at gostops ????Definitely come again !!
